EMBRace Aims

Aim 1:

We seek to assess the effectiveness of the EMBRace intervention to improve racial socialization competency (racial encounter knowledge, stress management, and coping skills) for families.

Aim 2:

We seek to compare the effectiveness of the EMBRace intervention to decrease parental and child racial stress and trauma while promoting stress and coping skills.

Aim 3:

We seek to promote bonding between parents and children.
